the Summer of 2003 to commemorate the clubs 100th birthday.

the President and the vice President. Northern B.C. were the first visiting team to be welcomed a month later, with the home team registering a win. During the mid 1920's Banchory having bowled against all the local clubs, attempted to form a new Deeside league. Banchory B.C. joined the S.B.A in 1929, but it was not until 1935 that the new Upper Deeside Bowling League came into being. The club pavillion which dates back to 1903 has changed very little over the years retaining much of it's original charm. For many years the ladies did not have use of the pavillion so they built their own club house next door. The gents had begun to notice that the cost of entertaining visiting teams at restaurants was getting a bit expensive so they asked the ladies to join them. The ladies were wise to this ploy and held out for some time before finally agreeing in 1968. Down through the years Banchory Bowling Club has had it's fair share of top class bowlers and has won many competitions and trophies. In this their centenary year the club President Bob Peter will lead the members in a series of special games and social events to mark this their 100th Birthday.
