A
NEW AN EXCITING KNOCKOUT DRAW GENERATOR PROGRAM
This program has turned out to be very
versatile in just what you can do with it, you can vary the amount of ends
played, the amount of bowls used by each player all of which makes the
game new and exciting to play.
Please note that all the programs now operate no any windows up to and including XP pro and Vista
Many clubs have asked by e-mail for a better description of the 3 software programs,
so I decided
to publish this in depth resume which I hope helps you to understand in greater detail what each program does.
My partner and I are both club bowlers and mad on computers, this is not a business in any
way just a hobby.
More and more clubs around Scotland and abroad are using it now as the word spreads.
All The software has been updated and designed to work on any Windows
from 95 up to XP pro & Vista, and requires a minimal amount of memory.
The programs all have complete built in help files which we suggest you print as a reference.
They are designed to generate a seasons league games and all that you need to run said league. You can create as many
competitions as you like, just save each one of them with a new name each time as you do with any program.
You can enter as many teams or players or fixtures on any amount of rinks to suit your requirements, we usually set ours up with about 12 or 13 teams, according to the
entry. It will
automatically assign the rink quantity according to amount of teams entered, but you can tell it to use
any amount you wish to suit your club.
When you have done that you view the fixtures immediately, you can assign rink
numbers 1 to 6 etc or not. You can play each other 1, 2, 3 or 4 times and it will create the whole series on a random
basis and print out the fixture sheet, you will always play each other the same amount of times.
Then edit all the times and dates of
each fixture, create a sponsors information letter adding any phone Numbers
or contact details to suit your own needs, any rules and regulations, or your own club
notices.
A copy of the fixture list an sponsors letter is then given to each skip or captain.
You can print off all the scorecards for each fixture using your own cards. the
software will add the details for each game. by the game, the month or the season.
It will create one off score cards for special games. It also now creates it's
own score cards and prints all the match information onto the cards, which you
print out on plain A4 paper or card then just cut them up. This is a great
saving on your clubs printing costs against having to buy them from outside
printers.
After each game you update the scores and print out the resulting league table for the notice board.
All the data you create can be saved onto disc or memory stick and moved between any pc using the same software,
so if you have one PC at the club and one at home you can work on either and just transfer data via
a medium.
This program will not create knockouts just leagues, and the above description
tries to cover all 3 programs.
When you have decided to purchase the program just email or phone me for the
cost and payment details. I need your club name to form part of the security
coding which is built into the software.
I will then post off the software package with samples made out in your clubs
name, with security registration code.
I hope I've covered everything, and shown below are samples of the print outs
you get from the software.
You can phone me with the details if you wish rather than email it's up to you.

This is a new piece of
software designed to create and run the 3 sets game as a league.
You simply input your team names in the boxes and the software will create a
league playing each other x1 x2 x3 or 4 times during the season
played on randomised rinks.
TO CREATE A NEW LEAGUE
1. Enter a name for the league and save it.
2. Enter the team names. ( note: even numbers are best to suit your clubs
rinks)
3. Edit in the chosen times and dates to suit your calendar.
4. Print off fixture list.
5. The Score cards are printed in pairs complete with each games details already on them,
so there is know need for the club to buy special score cards as they print out onto paper or
card, which you then just cut up individually.
6. Create and print your own official information letter with any rules or just general information.
7. After each game go to the edit score page and enter that fixtures results,
and print off
an up to date league table of the standings for your notice board.
8. The program awards 2 point for each set won & 1 point for a drawn set. Should
the overall match score in shots be level at the conclusion of the 3rd
set, one additional end shall be played to determine an outright winner,
as there must be an outright winner in each match. You can play any amount
of ends per set as you choose up to a maximum of 9 ends per set.
9. You can save all data to back up onto a disc or memory
stick and transfer data
between PC's ,as long as they are both running the same program.
That's all there is to it, all the hard work is done simply on your PC
which needs to be running
Windows 95 right up to XP pro 7 Vista.
If you require any further details please contact me at the usual
email address or phone me at home on : 01554-759112

You can create special one off cards, for play off's or finals etc. The software allows for you to alter the position of the text in relation to your own cards and printer. A new facility now lets you print the whole score card with all game details, onto blank paper or card this will save the club lots of money on the printing bills. |
